Adult Ministries/Classes

FUMC Coweta has multiple opportunities for people to connect with one another and develop relationships while learning about God's Word and the Christian life.

Adult Sunday School:

Three adult classes meet each Sunday at 9:45 a.m. for study and fellowship.

  • The Friendship class is a class of mostly older adults that meet in the downstairs classroom and meets down the hall from the kitchen.  All ages are welcome.  Come and join them as they study and participate in the David Cook Curriculum series each week.  This class is led by Sue Coker.
  • The Get Real Class is led by Doshie Chandler.  They meet in the Cross Room, and study various topics, including current books and relevant discussion.   This class is a multi-age group of both married and single people.
  • The Crossroads Class meets in the Family Life Center and is led by Kem Kirk .  They study a variety of topics, and are currently beginning a series based on Phillip Yancey's "What's So Amazing About Grace?"   This is a lively, discussion oriented class, made up of people of all ages. This class is made up of mostly 30 and 40 "somethings",  with both married couples and singles.
