Good Morning, Church!

Thank you for welcoming Jacob Brigance last Sunday. Every year, I travel to Arkansas to teach at the Arkansas Canoe Club's School of River Paddling. I taught four people aged 65 and older how to paddle a canoe on lakes and down river rapids. They were a great group. You are never too old to learn something new and definitely not too old to enjoy the outdoors. Despite all the rain, it was a great weekend teaching. 

Summer is here, and I know some of you will be traveling to visit family, taking vacations, or simply going to the lake. We did not take many vacations when I was a child, but my dad loved to go for drives. He would pick a random direction and then just follow various roads. We would stop to see things along the way. We would discover all kinds of things on these drives. Starting this Sunday, we will be starting a new sermon series called "Road Trip."  Join us on Sundays as we take a road trip through Scripture. Invite a frieind along for the ride.
