Fellowship of Narcotic Anonymous (NA)
7:00 PM
The purpose of any service structure or committee in Narcotics Anonymous is to help the suffering addict gain recovery though the Fellowship of Narcotic Anonymous (NA). This is what Eastern Area Service Committee of the Oklahoma Region is all about. There are no ruling bodies in NA – only trusted servants and the committees on which they serve. The EASC is directly responsible to those it serves – The Eastern Area of the OK Region; which is one of four area service committees in the OK Region. The EASC is ever mindful of the spiritual principles expressed in the Twelve Steps, Twelve Traditions and Twelve Concepts of NA.

Redemption Church/ Exodus House

Here at Coweta First United Methodist Church along with Bixby FUMC and Wagoner FUMC, we serve dinner 3 times a year.

Redemption Church

is a fellowship of prisoners, ex-prisoners, their families, and friends of faith. We seek to mold prison formed faith into the walk of discipleship.

The mission of Redemption Church is to cultivate and empower peer leaders who can reach out and help others with similar life experiences.

Fellowship

Inmates have the opportunity to visit with family members and even share a meal provided by churches or brought by family members. Having the opportunity to socialize in a relaxed environment is significant in allowing inmates to begin to think about transitioning back into community.

Worship

Worship is at non-traditional times for most churches with a service on Sunday afternoon and on Thursdays evenings.

Exodus House

Exodus House is a six-month temporary residential project.

Criminal Justice and Mercy Ministries (CJAMM) also operates two Exodus Houses, in Oklahoma City and Tulsa. These are small apartment complexes where people newly released from prison can live with their families while they re-enter life successfully outside prison walls. Leaders say those who take this route rarely return to prison.

The furnished apartment complete with linens, cooking and eating utensils is provided free of charge, except for the cost of electricity.  Residents stay for a limited time and are permitted to take all the apartment's contents when they move.

Exodus Houses welcome donations of items for the apartments.
