Good Morning everyone

I have some news to share. After much prayer and discernment, I will be stepping down as the Pastor of Coweta and Porter UMC. Many of you know that I work as a chaplain at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa. It is a demanding, often stressful job. To maintain a healthy stress level and protect my mental health, I have chosen to resign as a congregational minister. George and I have had many long conversations about this decision. I have loved getting to know each of you and being part of your lives and your faith journey. I thank you all for the honor of being your pastor and for allowing me to lead you. 

November 1st will be my last Sunday as the Pastor at both churches. I pray that the Lord keeps you and blesses you. May you all continue to be a light in this community.
