Fall has arrived.

Reflections from Pastor Stacy, with a short reminder about upcoming events at Coweta FUMC.

October 2, 2026, 7:00 AM

Hello Church!

I am happy to be back from up north in Alaska. It was a wonderful trip, and I loved Alaska. What is even better- fall seems to have arrived in Oklahoma. I love the cool weather. Our trip started out of Seattle. We arrived to crisp, cool weather, and the fall leaves changing colors. I am so happy to come home and feel the cool fall weather here. Fall weather means football, hikes, pumpkin spice, and campfires. At our church, it means a return to our usual routine. Sue Coker has started the Women in the Word bible study on Monday nights. Our children's minister has some great curriculum planned for the kids this fall. Fall also means charge conference time. We will have our local charge conference this Sunday following service. Everyone is invited and will be voting on leadership and budget, as well as reports from the pastor. Please make plans to attend.

Last, October 8th at 4 pm we will be retiring our flag out front. Debbie Walker has put together a wonderful and respectful service. Everyone is invited.

Shalom,

Pastor Stacy
